Does it needs to be done by DIP or something else? [AK] As we for now we don't have any training on this but as you requested we would be adding some content related to SMAL and Federation membership Portal inn next 1-2 days. For now please go through these useful links for OAM/OIM Integration with Azure AD https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/how-to-connect-fed-saml-idp https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/idm/access-manager/ Does it needs to be done by DIP or something else? 4. Hi Priyatosh Thanks for writing to us! PFB for the answer to your query. Upgrading JDK at source would be a better option as RHEL5 has some known issues with lower version of JDK. Oracle home can be upgraded later after Linux upgrade so out of option you can go to OPTION 1 Upgrade ORACLE_HOME and JDK on RHEL 5 and then migrate to RHEL7 Regards kirti

  12. Hi Priyatosh Node Manager acts as an agent and wherever you starting or stopping any managed server through Admin console node manager should be up and running. you can't stop or start any MS from the admin console if Node manager process is killed. But if you are using command prompt or .sh you can start the managed and Admin server (even node manager is down) we cover this in our Oracle WebLogic training. Check here for full details http://k21academy.com/weblogic https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs81/adminguide/nodemgr.html#1152388

  21. One of Our Existing Trainee asked about Client requested to give sizing requirement like CPU, Disk, Memory etc? 22. One of Our Existing Trainee from Oracle access Manager Training asked about Q. can we run RCU from the remote existing OAM DEV environment to a remote DB in new UAT environment. I am not able to test the connection using SQL developer from my windows to the remote DB. [AK]: Follow the below steps to test the DB status from remote window machine 1. Make sure server is accessible from client side, easiest way to do it by using ping command to verify. 2. There is a connection between host and server using a specific port, you can use telnet command to verify. 3. Enable the instance listener to be listening on an IP address not localhost. 4. Database is running
  23. [AK] If you are looking for to create CDB and PDB Database 12.2 or 12.1 Manually then follow the below My oracle support links 1- how to create a container database manually. [AK] : https://oracle-base.com/articles/12c/multitenant-create-and-configure-container-database-12cr1 The simplest way to see how manual creation of a CDB is accomplished is to run the DBCA. Pick "Advanced Mode", select the "Custom Database" option (no template used) and at the end, uncheck the "Create Database" option and check the "Generate Database Creation Scripts" option. The resulting scripts will include one called "CreateDB.sql", with contents similar to this. 2-how to create the pluggable database manually. [AK]: https://oracle-base.com/articles/12c/multitenant-create-and-configure-pluggable-database-12cr1 Note: The article was written for Oracle 12.1, but content is still relevant for Oracle 12.2. Adjustments have been made where necessary
  24. [AK] if you are in situation Like this and not able to start the system component check the logs first which shown in error in our case /u01/app/oracle/sohsfmw/user_projects/domains/base_domain/system_components/OHS/ohs_nm.log , and after reading the log the root cause of this issue as below : check these two .conf file u01/app/oracle/sohsfmw/user_projects/domains/base_domain/config/fmwconfig/components/OHS/instances/ohs1/httpd.conf /u01/app/oracle/sohsfmw/user_projects/domains/base_domain/config/fmwconfig/components/OHS/instances/ohs1/ssl.conf:> and the issue was with Listen address, we update the wrong listen address at the time of standalone configuration so we corrected the Listen address and then successfully able to start OHS Component.
  25. we successfully installed and configured OHS 12c in standalone mode also able to start node manager without any issue on 5556 port. After this when we start ohs1 our system component getting below issue Error : weblogic.nodemanager.NMException: Received error message from Node Manager Server: [Server start command for OHS server 'ohs1' failed due to: [Failed to start the server ohs1 Check log file /u01/app/oracle/sohsfmw/user_projects/domains/base_domain/system_components/OHS/ohs_nm.log].
